In the heart of my childhood, our home blossomed into a sanctuary of love and joy because of our four-legged companions. Growing up surrounded by a family deeply devoted to dogs, from breeders to groomers, and proud advocates of no-kill Animal Shelters, I developed an unbreakable bond with these incredible creatures.

 

For over two decades, I pursued a fulfilling career as a social worker and entrepreneur, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of others. However, fate had a different plan for me. In 2018, just before the world was shaken by the pandemic, a tragic event struck my life unexpectedly. I suffered a sudden and severe hemorrhagic stroke, an ordeal that none of us were prepared for. As a mother of ten, with four little ones still under my care, the path to recovery was filled with confusion and challenges. Simple tasks I once handled with ease became daunting hurdles, causing internal frustration and anxiety.
